English
English in five two-month levels: speaking, listening, workplace English, phone calls, interviews and presenting. Each level is two months: three sessions a week, two hours each, ETB 10,000, paid level by level. Level 1 is almost all speaking and listening and is explained in Amharic, and every level ends with a filmed 60-second showcase of you using the language.
Chinese (Mandarin)
Mandarin Chinese in five two-month levels: pinyin, tones, characters, workplace Chinese, with HSK 1 and HSK 2 preparation. Each level is two months: three sessions a week, two hours each, ETB 10,000, paid level by level. Level 1 is almost all speaking and listening and is explained in Amharic, and every level ends with a filmed 60-second showcase of you using the language.
Spoken Arabic (Gulf)
Spoken Gulf Arabic in two two-month levels: greetings, everyday speaking, and work and service situations. Each level is two months: three sessions a week, two hours each, ETB 10,000, paid level by level. Level 1 is almost all speaking and listening and is explained in Amharic, and every level ends with a filmed 60-second showcase of you using the language.

There is a free drill area on this site for all three languages — flashcards, dictation, sentence building, a tracing pad for Chinese characters and the Arabic alphabet, and a speaking drill that listens to you and scores your pronunciation word by word. Meanings are in Amharic. No account, nothing to pay, and nothing leaves your phone.
It covers roughly the ground of Level 1. It will not make you fluent — that takes a teacher who corrects you — but it is an honest way to find out whether a language suits you before committing a level to it.
