Who it is for
For editors who want to add motion graphics, designers who want their work to move, and creators who want animated intros, titles and lower thirds of their own.
Your teacher is a working professional at Klick Film & Design School in Addis Ababa, where over 2,000 students trained in a single year. Online, it is just you and them: they watch your screen, stop where you are stuck, and every session is spent on your work.
What you will learn
- Timing, spacing, easing and the principles of animation
- After Effects workspace, keyframes and the graph editor
- Kinetic typography and title design
- Logo reveals and brand animation
- Lower thirds, transitions, track mattes and green screen
- Rendering for social, YouTube and broadcast
- A short showreel of your own work
Because the class is one-on-one, your teacher sets the order and the pace around what you want to make. The full in-person curriculum is on the Motion Design course page.
What you need
A computer that can run After Effects smoothly (16 GB of memory or more helps), and a stable connection. Ask us about your computer before you pay.
How it works
- Register online or message us on WhatsApp — tell us the country you live in and the hours you are free.
- We match you with a teacher — and agree the session times in your time zone, in Amharic, English or Tigrinya.
- Someone in Ethiopia pays in ETB — at our Mexico or CMC Michael campus, so nothing has to be sent internationally.
- Class starts on Zoom — as soon as your times are agreed.
